Welcome to StudentHPC. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Eligibility and application process

Educational requirement. To use StudentHPC, you must apply using a valid
student

Application process. There is no automated registration or self-service
account creation. When you submit an allocation form, we collect your name,
.eduemail address, and project details to verify your student status and evaluate your proposal. Upon human review and approval, temporary credentials will be issued for your allocated timeframe. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information during this process.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use StudentHPC responsibly and strictly for academic, non-commercial scientific and mathematical research.
Strictly prohibited activities
- No cryptocurrency. You may not use our infrastructure or resources for cryptocurrency mining, trading, or related activities.
- Controlled AI development. Because of their heavy computational demands, artificial intelligence (AI) development, model training, and heavy machine learning workloads are restricted. You may not run these workloads without prior written approval. If your research simulation requires machine learning, you must explicitly outline this and request approval when applying for GPU node allocations.
- No business or commercial use. The platform is strictly for student learning and research. Use for commercial projects, businesses, or any profit-generating activities is forbidden at all times.
- No disruptive behavior. You may not use this platform to bypass security, distribute malware, or disrupt services for other users.
3. Limitation of liability
StudentHPC is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudentHPC and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, data loss, research delays, or loss of use) arising from your use of or inability to use our platform and computing resources.
4. Governing law and venue
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these terms or your use of the platform shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate, suspend, or revoke access to our platform at any time, without prior notice, if a user violates these terms, engages in unauthorized activities, or upon the natural expiration of their approved allocation period.
